Data services for multiple sectors

Your systems, in sync.
Your data, working for you.

We connect the systems your organisation runs on, build the APIs between them, turn the data into reports and dashboards people trust, and keep the databases underneath healthy.

What we do

Five services, one connected data platform

Take one on its own or combine them. Every engagement starts with a free consult and a written scope.

  1. 01

    Data synchronisation

Automated, reliable data flows between the systems you already run: Dynamics 365 CRM, finance, HR, student and learning systems and more. Real-time or scheduled, one-way or two-way, with every record verified.

    Details →
  2. 02

    API development & integration

Secure APIs that expose your data to partners, apps and portals, and integration of the APIs you depend on, including Dynamics 365 Dataverse, with proper authentication, versioning and monitoring.

    Details →
  3. 03

    Reporting & dashboards

A governed data warehouse fed by your synced data, with Power BI or Tableau dashboards and scheduled report packs that give managers one version of the truth on any day of the month.

    Details →
  4. 04

    Database maintenance & support

Health checks, performance tuning, backups and recovery testing, patching, upgrades and migrations for SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL and cloud databases.

    Details →
  5. 05

    School system integration

Connecting the platforms a school runs on: Veracross, Canvas, Clipboard and the other student, learning, co-curricular and finance systems, so enrolments, classes, rosters and attendance stay in step without re-keying.

Sectors

Deep in schools and finance, at home in many more

Schools and finance businesses are where we have the most experience, and their systems and compliance needs are specific. The same discipline carries to any organisation with more than one system.

Schools

Student information systems such as Veracross, learning platforms such as Canvas, co-curricular platforms such as Clipboard, plus Dynamics 365 CRM for admissions and community, timetabling and finance, all sharing one set of facts. School system integration →

Finance

Dynamics 365 CRM, ledgers, bank feeds, practice management and client portals kept in step for accounting firms, lenders, fund administrators and finance teams, with reconciliation built in. Data synchronisation →

Health and community

Client, patient and funding data integrated with care, billing and CRM systems, handled with the privacy controls the sector requires.

Professional services, retail, government and not-for-profit

Clients, members, donors, inventory, cases and grants connected to finance and reporting without manual re-keying.

How we work

From scattered systems to connected data in four steps

  1. Step 01

    Map

We document every system, field and hand-off, agree which system owns each piece of data, and define the rules for conflicts.

  2. Step 02

    Build

Connectors, APIs and reports are built in short iterations, tested against real historical data, and run alongside your current process.

  3. Step 03

    Verify and cut over

We prove the new data matches the old to the record, then switch over with a rollback plan in place.

  4. Step 04

    Hand over and improve

Full documentation and handover, then a steady cadence of new feeds and reports as your organisation changes.

Why eFinance

Engineering discipline, applied to your data

Integration projects fail quietly: a feed stops, nobody notices, and three months later two reports disagree. We build so that cannot happen silently.

  1. Idempotent, replayable syncs. Re-running a job never duplicates a record.
  2. Full lineage. Every record carries its source, timestamp and transformation history.
  3. Monitored by default. Alerts on every feed, API and database we deliver.
  4. Onshore by default. Designed with the Privacy Act in mind, data processed in Australian regions.
  5. You own it. Source code and infrastructure are yours. No lock-in, full documentation.

FAQ

Common questions

Can you work with a system that has no API?

Yes. Many systems only offer file exports, SFTP drops, email reports or direct database access. We build connectors for all of these, including scheduled file pick-up and validation.

Where is our data stored and processed?

In Australian cloud regions by default. Where a platform you use is hosted overseas, we document the data flow so you can meet your own privacy and regulatory obligations.

What happens when a sync fails?

Jobs retry automatically, failed records go to an exception queue rather than being dropped, and your team is alerted with enough detail to act. Nothing is written to a target system twice.

Can you take over databases someone else set up?

Yes. A database health check is usually the first step: we document what exists, fix the urgent issues such as missing backups or failing jobs, then agree an ongoing maintenance plan.

Who owns the code you write for us?

You do. All custom code, configuration and documentation produced under a project is assigned to you on payment.

What does a project cost?

Projects are quoted fixed-price after a short discovery phase, and ongoing work is billed by the day or as a flat monthly service. Get in touch for a quote.
